I am buying a new desktop. Because of my computer ignorance, I do not know if the computer graphics card (or anything else in the tower) affects the performance of either my PS3 or XBOX 360 online gaming. I do not play PC games.

I realize that the gaming consoles have their own hardware…but I never knew if my main computer comes into play for anything.

FWIW - looking at a Dell XPS 625 with dual (2) ATI Radeon 4850 cards.

However, eversince i started to play some first person shooter games on PC i started to really be bad at console gaming. I stopped computer gaming for about 2 days, and i increased in palying.
