Which one is the best gaming console?

Hello to you all.I wanted a new gaming console but am confused which one to buy.I have got 4 choices-PS3,PS2,XBOX360 OR XBOX ELITE.Which one is the best gaming console among them.I play adventurous,horror,role playing,racing and first person shooter games more.so I wanted a console on which I can play these types of games with full graphics and quality.I wanted my money to be fully utilized.Please help me PLEASE.
Don’t care about cost.I want graphics and also you should think about future I mean which will have more games and better tech,better accessories in future.I rarely play online games so don’t think about net on console.
