what is good to use for recording things on a gaming console?

im looking for something that can capture the gameplay of my xbox 360 with good quality. Im not talking about an actual video camera, im talking about a system sort of like the adactep gamebridge. here’s an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jElgtdoSqU

see how it doesnt have the clutter in the backround? its like watching it on the tv. what is good for that?

   This will probably sound rather stupid, but use a video or DVD recorder. Not a camera, a recorder that you would record TV using. You should be able to set it up to record the AV or External channel that your Xbox plays through, then you can pop a video or DVD into it and record.

   For 70 the captured vids other than that you cant put ur tv will give you detailed explaination on how to use it if buy though pick up yadapters for lcds the worst thing about this great capture card.
