What gaming console should I buy?

console gaming
gurneet2009 asked:

I have enough money right now for a 400$ playstation 3 I know that next month there is going to be a new ps3 that is for 80gb but I dont really need that much. Should I buy the Playstation 3 now or is there going to be a new gaming console out soon. I already have a xbox 360, Wii, and psp.

The ps3 is the gamin world and plus you get that you apparently dont have currently theres nothing new out in bluray now.
The only one that bluray beat out in bluray player bluray player bluray beat out hddvds so they will only be making movies in bluray now.

Playstation 3’s support external hard drives, so in the future if you run out of space just invest in one of those. Also if you don’t want to pay for the external hard drive, just store your music files/multimedia on a PC (media server) and connect your playstation to it.

Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 are all generally recent consoles (last 2 years) ussually consoles are around for a good 4-5 years, so you shouldn’t be expecting a new console to make it’s way onto the market anytime soon.

especially not a new playstation because the gaming engine with it’s 8 SPE(synergistic processing elements) which are basically cpu cores are not being fully utilized by most ps3 games yet. So expect the system to support next-gen titles for the next 1-2 years.

But if you are to expect a new system, it would probably be around in 2010.
